FLOW

I am going with the flow! What exactly does this mean?

It means a lot of different things. With the energy of the human body flow is essential to well being, health, happiness and the experience. Without flow we are dead in the water. Flow as I witness it, in all people I get to read, is in the most simple form ‘energy coming in’ and ‘energy going out’ of the body and space around the body. There is also the flow of life or as we often hear, going with the flow. These two flows are very interconnected and often the same thing.

Let’s say you are involved in a big project. This project is a business opportunity for you and important to your survival and ability to make money. All projects have a force of their own and in a sense momentum, as do you and your life experience. Let’s also say that there are other people involved in the project with you. Now we have multiple flows, the project itself, you, and the other people involved. This circumstance and all things combined is THE FLOW. Playing into all of this is each and every person and their own personal agenda, needs, personalities, talents, liabilities, desires, etc., etc. All of this combined is THE FLOW of the event in present time. Present time is key to your ability to engage with any flow whatsoever.

Now in our pretend example everything is going along fine but you are feeling something is not quite right but say nothing. Your flow just changed. This change is sensed by others but not spoken about. Let’s say a few other people involved also have some doubts also unspoken. The circumstance of the project is going to be affected by this and in a big way. Because what has happened is you and the other people who have doubts have pulled back on your outgoing flow of energy within your own space. This pulling back of energy will change the direction of the project and THE FLOW.

Change is healing

Now we add to the mix these changes and let’s say change is healing. The actual life of the project is now heading in a slightly different direction simply because of the pullback of outgoing energy of the people involved. This pulling back redirects the energy and what was and is, is no longer contained in the experience, now we have a new option. The other people involved in the project will either match the energy or not. Because we are keeping this a simple example let’s assume that the changes desired are, in fact, in affinity with everyone involved and has perhaps been the case all along but just not realized until now.  This is where we often feel as if the project has a life or flow of its own, and it does thanks to everyone involved and their ability to transmute the energy of their flow to be witnessed by the others involved in the project. We now have a new direction and a new project as well as a new FLOW. Now THE FLOW is a reflection of desire and what is best for all involved.
Here is where we can and do create stress for ourselves by not going with the flow of the circumstances. Because the project was connected to our survival and the need to make money we can become attached to the outcome and how it should look. We get scared and contract our energy, we stop our flow both in an out of our body.  This will not feel good I can tell you that much for sure. A contraction never is comforting, it feels uncomfortable and odd. It will affect THE FLOW. This is where I have to say a lot of unnecessary suffering occurs. The pain of not going with THE FLOW is big and the opportunity awaiting you is even bigger. Resisting THE FLOW will cause you to suffer and miss possibility.

A new direction to the project is your opportunity to let go, and find your future contained within THE FLOW. It may not be obvious to you at first but if you stop contracting and allow yourself to be available to what is going on in present time you will find your destiny. We often contract when we feel anxious or afraid. By sitting in contraction and fear you will not only suffer but you will actually slow down the momentum and life force. So as you can see it is vital to your well-being that you check in with yourself often to see just where you are coming from with your needs and wants when involved in anything, let alone something involving survival. Often our fear is a product of past time and unconsciousness on our part and we have a hard time letting go of this over and over again, because it sort of plays on a energy loop contained within our space. We are often completely unconscious of the impact it has on ourselves and the people around us.
Flow is really all there is here and a very key element to energy. We and everything around us is energy and it’s all moving. You want to be a part of the movement, the momentum. Staying present is the gift you give to yourself so you can connect to the changes in THE FLOW and our own personal flow.
